it never changes

Maybe this is why I love taking pictures, putting together photo albums of every year in college, and probably for the rest of my life.
It's funny to look back on pictures of people who you used to spend the majority of your time with.  Now they're just distant memories.  Where are they now? Why did we go from being inseparable to not wanting to run into them?
According to Andy Warhol...I guess it's because people change.
I've changed.  The times change.  The places change.
Everything changes...except a photograph.

Great quote. Once in the car, I told my boyfriend how truly amazing a photograph is... how it just freezes time! How, 5 years later, it's still the same!

He laughed at me. :[

You know, I've been taking photos all my life (I'm 44), even majored in it in college and strangely, this idea has never struck me in this way. Quite interesting.

That is so true! You can capture someone in time and have all their best qualities preserved in a photo - in a photo they remain perfect and happy. Sooo true!
