try not to worry

Hold up, hold on, don't be scared
You'll never change what's been and gone
May your smile, shine on
Don't be scared
Your destiny may keep you warm.

'Cause all of the stars, have faded away
Just try not to worry, you'll see them someday
Take what you need, and be on your way
And stop crying your heart out.

Get up, come on
Why you scared? (I'm not scared...)
You'll never change what's been and gone.

We're all of the stars
We're fading away
Just try not to worry, you'll see us someday
Just take what you need, and be on your way
And stop crying your heart out.

love. work. dance.

Love like you have never been hurt.

Work like it's not for the money.

Dance like no one is watching.

who and how

I was thinking about palindromes (the words where they are spelt the same forwards and backwards like noon or mom) the other day, and the following words came into mind: who and how. Now i know that neither of those words is a palindrome, but those simple words made up of the same three letters mean a lot to me.

Day in and day out, people all over the world are asking the same questions: Who am I? How did I get to be the person I am today?

Those questions can be answered quite simply, if you just think about the words who and how.
You become the person you are because of who you hang out with and how you handle situations. Sometimes it's not as simple as it should be. I wonder why I became friends with my best friends or why I've dated the people that I have. But who and how are made up of the same letters. You can't find the "who" without wondering "how". You can't find out "how" without looking at the "who".

It seems confusing, but I can wind it down into one simple sentence:

We are who we are, but how? It's who we surround ourselves with.

We are our friends and family.
